Grim determination coupled with touches of sconce and oceans of brute Btrength made the contest one long to be remembered because it adequately provided the much-sought for game which reformers hope to 1 Invent to substitute for - football. It had the Australian, Soccer, Association football beat a mile. Anyway the au dience had plenty of excitement for the two -'teams see-sawed for first place until the last half when condi tion of - players commenced to tell and the high school kept a small lead. "Nig" Hubers and Tracy Hollister of ficiated and both men were kept on the Jump administering Justice, which they did with the eyes of Solomons. Bean was the dashing hero of the alumni, throwing most of the baBkets and figuring In much of the team work for the old graduates. ' Bohnenkamp scored the most bas kets for the highs although "Sticks" Woods negotiated a nice percentage of the free throws which came to the high school by virtue of the constant fouls caled on the alumni. LaBt year the high Bchool team was) defeated In the annual rub'' with the alumni and are sufficiently pleased to day that they were able to turn the tables even by .a curtailed margin.
