the high school five kept up its cam
paign to keep a clean string of victor
ies this winter when the school's
alumni was beaten by a score of 19
to 17. Grim determination coupled
with touches of sconce and oceans of
brute Btrength made the contest one
long to be remembered because it
adequately provided the much-sought
for game which reformers hope to

dience had plenty of excitement for

Bean was the dashing hero of the

Bohnenkamp scored the most bas
kets for the highs although "Sticks"
Woods negotiated a nice percentage of
the free throws which came to the
high school by virtue of the constant
fouls caled on the alumni.
LaBt year the high Bchool team was)
defeated In the annual rub'' with the
alumni and are sufficiently pleased to
day that they were able to turn the
tables even by .a curtailed margin.
