It cost a great deal of money to say nothing of pains and Inventive ingenuity to make a musical comedy comdete with bewitchlngly produced numbers, and that is why one or two novel effects are generally compelled , to counterbalance numerous solos and i duets, wherein the chorus is kept in the background. Not so. however In the "Sweetest Girl in Paris," which cnotains at least a dozen elaborate stage Bongs to say nothing of the sufficient quota of ctev er Individual hits In the way of vocal e'fforts. FISHING under favorable circumstances was enjoyed by memoers ot the Daniel Gray Fishing club of White Plains and th Mount KInco Gun club at Lke Kensico. Westcbenier county. New York, when the aqueduct commission recently drained the lake Id order to construct a dam that will enlarge what was merely a large poud Into a body ot water thirty miles In circumference. After most of the water was drained off It was found that there were tons of fish In wbat remained. Members of the clubs got permission from the aqueduct commission, and under the direction of nsb and game wardens the flab were caught In seines and those of value were taken In tanks to nearby .streams and ponds and released. Black bass that weighed eight or ten pounds 'were thus moved, and pickerel dearly as heavy were also transported to their new homes. Suckers, shiners and other worth 'less fish, or those of little value either as food or as sport for expert fisher men, were rejected and were permitted to die in the mud. Automobiles were In readiness for moving the fish, and' they were released with only three fatal ities, and they were blgr pickerel which succumbed to the lack of air while confined In the small tanks in transit Catching and moving the fish took all one day. The pictures above show the catching of the fish and the way they . were dumped Into the waters that will be their future homes. EVERY HOUSEWIFE SHOULD . KNOW THIS LABEL.
