Elm street, the city scales must go

there are so few scales in town. ,
Just what disposition will be made
of the incident Is not yet determined.

new industrial Insurance law, effect

the employers' liability commission,

manufacturers in Spokane that of

40 per cent of the court business of
this state consisted of personal in-
ury suits, adding that most of this

Tacoma. for the manufacturers', and
H. Wallace, Seattle, for the em
ployes. Howard J. Hindley, a local
newspaper writer, will be secretary.

bronze bust of Tom Moore, the Irish
poet, was unveiled in the Cjrcoran
art gallery here this afternoon on the
eve of the 132nd anniversary of his
Dirtn. The bust Is Intended to com
