The campaign of the young men of
this city to secure $5,000 and 400 mem
bers for a Y. M. C. A. in this city is
meeting with much favor and Indica
tions are that they will be successful
in reaching, the desired goal. The
ten committers began work this morn-

vass of the town, soliciting contribu
tions only from men between the ages
of 16 and 0 years. At the same time
they are endeavoring to secure a
membership of 400 from among the
young men of the city. :".
A rousing meeting was held in the
city hall Sunday aft: rnoon and many
enthusiastic speeches were made. The
personnel f of the various committees
was announced anef the- workers as
signed to districts in' ihe ;It. At
that it had secured $385. and other
committees -were also having good
success, f. The committees will meet
every bight Jexcept, tonight, to make
reports and outline' the work for the
'next ddy.'JThey plan to have half th
money, or' I2.500,1 pledged by Tuesday
night. , All the boosters are enthusias
