"Christ the Lord is Risen Today" was sung in scores of thousands of sacred edifices yesterday but we will venture to say it was not appreciated better in any instance than it was at the Isis. . - Such music is an especial fad of Musical Director King and his ar rangement of the setting received well merited approval from thos; who went to hear it. His full organ accompani ment was a feature of the number. All lovers of music In La Grande know the Isis trio of singers and in their looking for something txtra they were who sang her soprano solo with more gratified with Mlss Nellie G'arrlek pleasing effect than we know of her beautiful voice elsewhere.
