Easter Music at the Isis.
A verltabU success, appreciated

Isis last night when the experiment
of giving the people high class relig
ious music on such days as Easter
Sunday is.
"Christ the Lord is Risen Today"
was sung in scores of thousands of
sacred edifices yesterday but we will
venture to say it was not appreciated
better in any instance than it was at
the Isis. . -
Such music is an especial fad of
Musical Director King and his ar
rangement of the setting received well
merited approval from thos; who went
to hear it. His full organ accompani
ment was a feature of the number.
All lovers of music In La Grande know
the Isis trio of singers and in their
