Theo dor: Roosevelt left here this morning for New York where he will make his start for. his big speaking tour through the south and west. For more than a month he will be kept con stantly on the move, making speeches, attending receptions and dinners, de livering lectur.a and traveling. Al though he has made it clear that he Is not going to talk partisan politics, his trip is naturally regarded as of move or les political significance. He is to make a number of set sp.echas, most of which deal with public ques tions and will declare hia belief in re gard to them. During bis trip he is lkely to hold manjf conference with political leaders in the west. Col. Roosevelt is to make the first speech of his trip tomorrow at Atlan ta, where h; is to addiess the South ern Commercial congress now tn ses sion in that city. The next day he will speak at the Child Labor confer ence In Birmingham and on Saturday he is to b; entertained in Jackson and New Orleans. Hi will reach Los Anseles March 21 and San Francisco the following day. He will remain in the vicinity of the last-named city about ten days, a large part of which tint . will be devoted to the delivery of the seiies of Earl lectures at the university of California. Leaving San Francisco, Col.
