The letter is written by a man named W, D. Scott, and he wants informa tion relative to the price of land, the products and the resources. He ad mits that be has heard of the Grande Ronde through literature, and wants more of the same kind of informa tion. He has heard of Oregon in gen eral, but seems to be especially pleas ed with the prospects of this county, and it is presumed that when the proper information is sent to him, he will come here to investigate first hand.
