It Is doubtful A LaNsrande, will see the Jeffries-Johnson fight pictures. Judging from news Items from the seat of war, Manager B. M. Sherwood, of the Isis, is of the opinion that the films may never be sent out to the Western states at all, on account of the concerted action brought against them In the east. It Is definitely sta ted that the Eastern theatres are not to see the films, but that decree does not cover the western states. In the event that the films are turned Ioobc in the West, It will re quire about three weeks before any of them reach La Grande. At this time the local theatre has not been appris ed officially by the film makers as to what Is to be done with the films in Oregon, Washington, and other North western states. ' .
