V Insenhofer against W J. Woili, Al eging that Woods was illegally el ected recorder of the town of Huut ington on the eighth of February. Among the charge are the following: First There were Illegal votes polled, f He named the men whom he alleges voted Illegally. Second-That Woods and his friends gave cigars and drinks to voters on election day" contrary to the state laws. Third. That the election was bi ased and refused to allow, challeng ing of votes that were polled by Woods Fourth. That election board would not allow cretaln persons to vote who had a legal right to do so. Fifth That WoodB personally so licited votes on election day contrary to the law. Baker Democrat. the Importing egos . American hen cannet supply home demand New York, Feb. 26. For the first time in many years, the fruit of the hen is being Imported into the Unit ed States from Europe. Although shipped in by an English concern, the eggs are the products of Aus tria, German and French hens. The Imported eggs are selling at a price several cents lower than domestic cold storage eggs, and are said by Pggologlsts to be superior to the homegrown article which has been refrigerated since last summer.
