This distinction is due to the fact that the state board of health recent ly determined to compel all packers and butchers who make their own to label it when anything other than meat is put into it Many butchers and some of the packers use i corn meal in some sausages to give an ad ded flavor. Some butchers were found who were not dissatisfied with selling ground corn for sausage but soked the meal to give weight Hence all will have to cease using meal or else the sausage will have to be labelled "cer eal sausage."
