T. Hill. During the evening's pleasures a short business session was held in which reports from . the committees were heard and the following officers for the year were choeen: W. F. Lao drum, resident; Wayne Pickler, ; vice president; Miss Oma Richardson, sec retary and .George Rogers, treasurer. Then the social enjoyment was . re newed and lasted, until a late hour when dellciods refreshments were served.'- y . :- One of the most pleasant events-of the week was the informal gathering at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Brenholts Wednesday evening in ho nor of Mr. Roger Ferguson. The evening was rendered :. especially pleasant by the presence of Mr. Fer guson's mother, who has come from Iowa to visit her son.
