Reports just received of the total for seven days, at the office of General Passenger Agent William McMurray of Portland, show that the Initial, seven days of the season saw the Harrlman lines bring Into the two Northwest states 1158 persons, which Is 1 more than cam the first week of the 1908 Fall season. In 1908 the first week embraced a period of eight days, whereas this year the week Is a perlpd .of seven days. Seven days of 1909 brings over the system 1 more persons than did eight days of 1908.
