The case was that of F. F. Schafer vs. Oral Beecher. involving the sale of pasture lands In Wallowa county. ' : , ill 111 (1 COMES Blazing the trail of the steel mail car, and being the first of its kind ever seen In La Grande, such a car went through here today en route to Seattle for exhibition purposes dur ing the A-V-P. The car is all steel, and is equipped with an electric dy namo for lighting purposes. It has an appearance similar to the regular car, but of course is more durable than the old-fashioned cars.
