L, Huffman who operates a sheep camp east of Telocaset and had the buildings and corral" on his ranch destroyed by incendiary fire the last week in April, was in Union, Satur day and stated he was on the trail of the incendiaries and had occasion last week to take four shots at a night marauder . prowling about his place, where he has kept a diligent watch since the fire. Owing to the darkness, however, the shots took no effect, Bays the Union Scout. There appears to be a move on foot to drive Mr. Huffman and his sheep out of that section, and a few days after the fire he received an anony mous note of warning, reading, "If you consider your scalp worth more than a cayote's scalp, do not not come back."
