The proposed get-to gether meeting at Baker will be hbld soon and then final arrangements will bo made as to who will compose the league. Players Swarming. There Is a virtual swarming of first class material around the La Grande hea'd by correspondence at least, Three-I league players that write for Jobs are numerous and when the time comes for Jie Initial bivouac on the La Grande grounds,' there will be ample material on hand from fast company to pick a winning nine from. SQUAD GIVEN Mil In a try-out or high school aseball material held last evening, the B. M. A. lads lost to the high school squad, 8 to 9. The club claims a strong line up this year, but was unable to mus ter out Its full force Inst evening. The high school line-up was shifted fre quently to make room for every mem ber of the student -body who wlshedto make a showing for the coaches. They were grown on the Plark ranch orchard. This ranch was recently purchased by a local business men's company and set to commercial orchard. that locality they returned to this city and bought back their old home.
