Chicago, Dec. 31. Under a new rule adopted by the University of Chicago, I effective today, women students will not be allowed to live at the same boarding houses where male students are housed. It is the custom of the university' to "assign" students to suit-, able boarding places and as landlords are thuB somewhat dependent upon . the Institution, the faculty hopes to be able to enforce the new rule without difficulty.
