BLAZE AT ELGIN TODAY Elgin, Dec. .26. (Special.) Fire this morning destroyed the elegant Cyrus Rush residence on the outskirts of the city, with a loss of $1200, at the lowest estimate. Everything 'on the ground floor was removed- In safety, but the fiercest portion of the fire was upstairs, pre venting egress by the firemen. There Is no insurance. The origin of the fire Is unknown.
