The Tribune said today: Late last night a long distance mes sage from La Grande gave the Infor mation that the examination of the accounts of Receiver A. A. Roberts for the La Grande land office had about been completed by the government ex amining force and that there will be no shortage. The shortage which Mr. Roberts feared was only due it seems from tbe Information now on hand, to have been merely due to, an unsatisfactory and Incorrect tabulation of .accounts In the bookkeeping department of his office, owing to the excessive demand on the clerical force due to a rush of busl- TV many friends of Mr. Roberts will tu pleased to learn that the cloud of suspicion has been removed and that his office affairs will be in extel lejjt : condition after the government Inspection force have completed its labors. Funeral Tomorrow. . Last evening at Cove, Amy, the lit tle 8-months-old daughter of L. D. Sutherland, died. The funeral will be held tomorrow from the home. Mrs. Ij. D.
