The total cush value of the fruit crop of the season will amount. In round number to 11,000.000.' This fact U assured by a recent estimate of the amount of fruit which haa been chipped from the territory since the opening of the strawberry season, about June 1. '. ,LTp until the first of November, the number of ran of frulta and vegeta Dlej exported from this valley, totaled Sit slr.ee June 1. Although there were a number of shipments of vege tables made before that time, these have not been Included In the esti mate given here. The majority of shipments have been prunes and ap ples, although several large lota of mixed commodities have been sent out. ' It Is estimated that at least $1000 of the value of a car of fruit goes to the grower, any profits being received, above this figure ' generally going to the commission or retail men. Figur ing on this basis, 1829,000 have. .been received already by the growers for their products this season. Possibly few of the cars' Included ' In this number did not bring the estimated $10000, but wherever, there was one which did not bring the $1000, there were two which brought ' more than that ' Included In these figures are all the fruit shipments from the famous Free-water-Mllton country, and also" from the State Line and Dixie Dayton terri tory. Although the season Is practi cally closed In the fruit line, In ihej way of gathering, It Is likely that 40 or 60 cars are yet to be sent out from this valley to eastern points.
