Chris Lund, while cutting rocks out of logs at the mill, received a severe cut on the foot which will lay him up for quite a while. Dr. Moiitor was called and took him to the hospital at La Grande, where he la resting easily at last reports. Sirs, Lund Injured. While Mrs. Chris Lund and Mrs. Robert Cook and Clayton Coalwel were returning from La Grande Wednesday evening, their horse became fright ened between the Oro Dell hrrtr nrt theold electric light building, running into the fence and throwing the iadins out. The horse broke loose and ran home. The ladles started to walk home, but were met by Mr. Lawrence obertson and Gilbert Nelson, who let the ladies have their rig to go home with. Mrs. Lund received several bruises. Mrs. Cook was cut quite se verely by coming in contact with the wire fence. While little Clayton re ceived no injuries at all.
