Garner arrived down from La Grande Saturday and visited with relatives and friends In this city during the week. Mrs. J. W. Rhodes visited Monday night with relatives in La Grande. She was accompanied by her daughter, Miss Beulah, who-wlll remain In that city and attend the Sacred Heart academy during the coming school year. O. C. Mapes and H. O. Masterson left Saturday for Anaconda, Mont, where they go to take part In the Northwest Boosters'. association shoot 'which 'is being held at that place.
