The machinery was started Monday, and has run smoothly and perfectly since then day shifts alone being adopted. A little later the wheel will turn night and day, but at present the manager finds It expedi ent to run but one shift. .The eleva tor is filled with grain, for wheat has been piling up here for several -weeks. The output of the mill is considerably Increased since the change in manage ment, and the freight shipments out of this place, which already 1 run into large figures, will bo materially In creased this year. McKen non's last Thursday in honor of Miss Fannie McKennon, who with her par ents, is"-going 'east next week. After this pro gram, ice cream and cake were served by the hostess, after which recitations and songs were rendered by some of the girls. Those present were: Mrs. E.
