This depart ment will be superintended by Mrs. S. A. Mrs. Toakum says there Is going to be a grand dis play of. dairy and creamery products at the fair next month, and has asked for additional space for the exhibits. In answer to her demand the fair board has concluded to move the "rest tent" over and annex It onto the dairy building, and under this the- differ ent firms dealing In dairy and cream ery ouiitia ;rui M-uuMi3i Btcia U1 their working exhibits, thus leaving the whole of the dairy pavilion proper for the creamery and . cheese factory entries. A large platform will . be erected adjoining on which will be displayed one of h modern milking machines In operation twice dally dur ing the fair. Mrs. Toakum will also have charge of the milch cow test. which Is one of the interesting feat ures of the fair and In which there Is considerable strife by the owners and exhibitors of the various dairy breeds of cattlo. Kindness Appreciated. The Order of Railway Conductors take this method of expressing their appreciation of the services of the engineers and firemen, furnished gratuitously, and the careful manner In which the two excursion trains were handled to and from Looking Glass park, and that when the first opportunity offers we, will be only too glad to reciprocate the favors extended.
