With Mayor Hall and Counellmen Andrews, Williamson and Curtlss ab sent, the council selected F. L. Meyers as president, and Mr. Meyers will have all powers of a mayor except the veta authority until the council meets again. : There was the ' usual amount of routine matter to come up. Special business to be dealt with were the electric power supply and the re port of the tlty book experter, J. B. Eaton..
