Zimmerman, the state , lec turer of the Oregon Anti-Saloon league. Mr. Zimmerman presented many strong arguments In favor of the suppression of the saloons. He enlarged upon the fact that aside from any moral feature or question as to the right or wrong of the liquor busi ness. It was simply a business proposl tlon, and that good business methods did not require the. presence - of the saloons. His lecture was; Illustrated with lantern pictures, which told the story equally as graphically as did his word paintings.
