One which the republicans . of thlt county may point to with justifiable pride. The county debt has been re duced to less than 1(5,000, and while this reduction has been taking place no part of the county construction (Work has been neglected. Thousands of dollars have been expended In . building substantial bridges onj the roads have received attentton In all parts of the county. Voters should take this fact Into consideration when they cast their ballot' for county com missioner at the election In June. Re-J member that J. M. Selder, the repub lican candidate, has been no Small factor In this reduction of the county debt. .- ... Farmers throughout the valley are all wearing broad smiles on account of ths splendid corp prospects. A Grande Ronde valley farmers always . wears a smile, because of the fact that a crop failure la unknown here, The season has been an exceptionally good one for planting, and the acreage for this time of the year Is above the , average. Additional acreage means additional crops, and additional crops means more money, and more money means more prosperity. What more can any one ask?
