Mr. Boyd Is here for a few days T.-'.r.i a view of directing attention to the resources of Wallowa county. Thesi gentlemen 'were Interviewed last evening by an Observer represen tative rgardlng th result of their two years' experience as a "dry" county? nn1 as the ouestlcn Is azaln to he rted upon at the June election,, what. In their opinion, the result would be. Both gentlemen were emphatic In their expressions aa to the belief that there was no question whatever as to the result, and the vote In favor of continuing dry would be greatly In excess of what it waa two years ago. That two years ago both centleraen recited the fact that the great ma jority of the business men were op posed to a dry county, they believed the wiping out of the saloons would b an In1ur hulnK. ToIn v th great majority of the business houses, after two years' experience, are' now among the strongest supporters and workers for a dry county. Mr. Craig stated that he did not personally know of a single voter who voted for a dry county two years ago, but would vote the same way In June; He does know of many, however, who voted the other way two years ago, who are now "dry" advocates.
