They have of, flees now in the Jaycox building, and as fast as their business will justify, purpose adding to their plant and en larging the same. Most of their re pair work will be done in their own shops this .eason and eventually they will manufacture practically all of the products for their various contracts here. The Columbia Bridge company Is under the management of A. E. Eber- hart and C. W. Smith. Mr. Eberhart Is one of the best known engineers In the country and for several years was connected with the American Bridge company, as was also Mr. Smith, who has been associated for many years with some of the big enterprises of the east. They expect to do a general line of engineering work, building steel, wood and combination bridges, structural steel work and. foundation ..Mb They expect to devote particular at tention to bridge work and structural steel work, and already have a num ber of contracts under way in this state and Oregon.
