PARK MOVEMENT TAKES DEflnlTE SHAPE AGAIN The athletic park movement la again noticeable, but this time under a slightly different color. Money to partially finance the prop osition, to purchase the site at least, must be In sight before final and complete arrangements for the park will be made. To get promise of enough money to do this, the citizens of La Grande will be ask to purchase shares, or rather to promise to pur chase, at about $10 per share. Com mencing with tomorrow, a paper will be circulated among the business men and citizens, young and old. In hopes of securing 11500 at least. If this sum or more can be raised, and the feat Bhould be performed in a day, the whole plan will be launched at the opportune moment, i The public schools of the city are behind it. Prominent Ouitiitewt uieii of the city who see the absolute ne cessity of an athletic park in La Grande, agree that the schools can promote the project with better re sults than private Individuals.
