Ho came to Portland with Archbishop Elnnchet and was ordain ed a priest of the aroh-dioceso of Ore gon. Hu was connected with the ca thedral In Portland and was a!so su perintendent of St. Michael's college for boys for several years. For 18 years he wa stationed In Roseburg and tho territory p.djolnlng. After- ards ho served for several years as astor of St. Francis church In Kart Portland and later on was appointed a superintendent of St. Mary's home r orphans at Beavertnn, Ore. Of late years he has been stationed Baker 'lly, when! ho was estecm- d und loved by all who had the pleasure of his acquaintance.
