The decoration sr.ham. was sncrffafifciva nf St Valentine's day. for in the reception room and parlor were criss-crossed strings or red nearis, and bouquets of red carnations. From the ceiling of the hall, hearts of the same color were dangling. In the dining room the color scheme was varied, pink hearts and smiiax being the colors used. To defferentiate the strings of hearts in this room from the other rooms, the strings were fastened in the center of the room and hung in graceful curves to the four corners of the table. Under this pyra- I mid of smiiax and hearts, Miss Mabel Williams served love cakes and coffee. In another corner Miss .Floy Masses supervised over the sherry frapee bowl. A nqvel scheme of amusement - was in troduced by the hostesses. The euests. on a piece o,' paper, told cf their personal charms without disclosing their identity or sex.
