M. Slattery, Principal.1 HEXT YEAR , A. E. Huff, a beet grower of thi valley thi morning exhibited sugar beet in thi city that hate been pulled since the frost and remarkably enough they are sound. This means that even the last heavy frost did not entirely damage the unpulled beets. It has been estimated that there are one thousand tons of beets still in the ground and the loss wasthot to be heavy. However, it is encouraging to know that with a little more pleasant weather, there will be a general clean up of beets. ' NONE Y IS ii iirrn, r a i MINIUM F L. He cannot practice Osteo pathy at all unless h is. He is the fellow, who, when a patient presents himseif. goes to work to find out exactly what I tie trouble is. He looks upon a man as an anatomical structure cons-sting of a ftamework of bones, a network of nerves, a tangl of muscles, a web of lymphatic ducts, a complication of ligaments, biocd vessels and viscera. 'To untare'e and lacate all the mulifarions crcans an:i tissues ip his business. He goes to wmk to heal the sick man much the same as an engineer womd Fix his locomotifa. He finds a nuve crossed or stretched. He finds the tnuicles unsc or strained. He finds bones dislocated, or partly ds!ocnJ. He finde cartilars misplaced. He finds a thousand tnat an averase physician wju:d ntver d;sccver. r.ever dream of. Hence it is that the Osteopath must necessarily be a ;:.a i anatomist. As a ruie, these dJct-'S carry the study ' of anatomy much further than the a. o j path, the elecuic or Ine homopath.
