Y. Nov. 13. The state today began its presentation in the case of Curtis against Gillette in an attempt to prove that Gillette killed Grace Brown so that he might marry Miss Nettie Bene dict. The defense has not announced its plan, but it is likely that suicide will be maintained. The lifeless body of Miss Brown was found recently with every mark of murder.
