Oct SO. and continues in session three days. Besides the routine business of the convention, an exctlljnt program has been arranged including lectures and some very fine music. . The evening of Oct. S 1 has been set apart for a lecture by Mrs. Decker for which the New England Conservatory club will furnish the music. The lecture will be given in' one of the large city churches and the public cordially invited without admission fee. The Federation officers, chairman of state committees and "isiiins daleaain.. will be entertained by the local clubs at one of the leading hotel. A banquet at the hotel Portland will be g ven in honor of Mrs. Decker and the visiting delegates. A trollev ride to Council Crest is also one of the social features planned by the committee.
