Landie. of the United States District Court an election is being held here today for the selection of a new overseer who shall act as trustee of Via property of the church which is variously estimated at between $12,000,000,- and $21,000,000 The court has recently decided that neither John Alexander Dowie nor Wilbur Glenn , the present overseer of the Christian Catholic Church in Zion is the owner of the extensive church property but that they merely held the property in trust and were accountable to the members of the church.
