Sept., 13 In the changes which are necessary in sending ships to various navy yards for repairs the Brooklyn Navy Yard is destined to lose the United States battleship Indiana, which has always been regarded in the distribution of ships to the yards as be longing to the yards at Philadelphia, when it is necessary to make periodical repairs or alterations from time to time. The Navy Department is now at work on the schedule for repairs, and will announce shortly the ships to be sent to the Navy Yards for docking, cleaning and such improvements and changes as are rec ommended. These repairs will rot be undertaken until after the ships have fin ished target practice off the New England coast. As soon as the repairs are made the Alantic fleet will be recognized, so as to include the new ships which have been commissioned and which are now on their "shaking down" cruises. The fleet will go next winter to Southern waters, as it usually does in that season, and there will be early in the new year the annual target practice oi the Southern Cuban ccast. It has been decided not to have this take place again in home waters in winter, as the facilities are better in the West indies. This will be a serious blow to Ponsaccola interests which have always prospered by the presence of the ships. f OR SALE Eight acres,6 room house.barn, place for chickens or hoes, orchard, all kinds o fruit and plenty of water.
