DAIRY CONTEST Af 1906 FAIR Editors Observer: Being somewhat interested in dairying and the dairy breeds of cattle, and. b. liev inr rhi I. 5;t:r.sJ to U a cuuiurv I would like to suggest to the dairymen of this county that we have a dairy contest at the fair this Fall. Five or more of each breed will be placed under one management such persons or person to be disinterested in any ot the breeds and competent to feed and over-see the care of stock and to be able to weigh and test the milk. As there are but few re gistered dai.y cows of any breed in this district 1 would say that a seven-eight blood be admitted to this contest. I believe such a contest would be of great benefit in educating the people in the art of nv dern dairying. Hoping to hear from others on this subject I am, yours for a more scientific dairy system, A Dairyman. ' OrtGoiv SH(. f JLWJ mm Union Pacifi! WAM l."g :'ffo, 4 No. 0 lt Latke.
