Section 1 provided for a license to be u. . , t ., i iubu ,wf i3, wait 3ia uiuuiua Section 2 proscribes in general the mode of procuring a license the most im portant feature being that the petitioner will not dering that period of his license, violate any law of the state of Oregon, or any ordinance of the city. Section 3 fixes the bond at $2,000 to be given by not less than two sureties which ar firmly 'held and bound to pay the full amount lost to any person or persons at any unlawful game within or upon the premises, during the term of said license, and that we are firmly held and fconnden for the payment of any and all damages in any suit that may be brought by the -wife, family, or relatives of any person who shall during the term of said license, become or is permitted to become intoxicated by the mse of any suck liquors so sold, delivered and drank upon the .premises. Now .if the said applicant tshall keep an orderly .house .and in all '.things comply with the provisions of this .ordinance, per mit Regaining or riotous xonduct in or about the place or premises therein, said liquor shall be sold; .that he will not -open nor, permit to be open his place of business for the purpose jf traffic on the first day of -the week .commonly called Sunday; that he willnot-give, sell, supply or deliver intoxicant liquors to any minors or habitual drunkards, nor .to any person in a drunken or intoxicatadxondition, and snau,pa.y tne tuu amount or all moneys lost by unlawful gatmqg, .and -shall pay the lull amount of damages secured by' any wife or relative of any person, who shall become or is permitted to become nloxicatad upon said premises during the term of said license, then this bond shall be void, otherwise to remain in full force and effect. Section 4 prohibits .riotous or disorderly conduct, selling liquor te any minors, or persons. already intoxicated, prevents the employment of women to sing, dance or as waitresses or theirpresence during any hour, day or night. Violation of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed .guilty of a misdemeanor and when convicted before the xity Recorder shall be punished by a fine of not less than $200 nor more than $300 or by imprisonment for not less than one day, nor more than 90 days or by both fine and imprisonment and in case of convic tionor selling liquor to a minor the unex pired portion of said license sball be for fieted to the city.
