MURPHY Hardware and crockery. SOCIETY One of the last and prettiest parties o f the Kaffee Klatch was given last evening by Mist Anson, Mesdame Molitor and Newlin at the home of Miss Anson. The large parlors and dinning room were beautifully decorated in yellow roses and lighted candles were used in profusian, giving a most charming effect. The yellow rose was also carried out on the tally cards. Whist was played and prizes were given to Misses Mayme Reith and Dot Saylor and Messers C. Conkey and McClennan. Refreshments of straw berry ice cream, pineapple ice, cake and coffee were served, the yellow rose being used on the plates. The guests were; Mr. and Mrs. Al Andrews, Mr. and Mrs. W. W. In piace of distributing small dodgers, comonly called "a tonightbiM" they fly a huge box kite(the wind permitting) sending up a large banner reading "Rip Van W'inkle to night". Attached to this banner is one hundred admission tickets which drop off ac intervals and any one finding one saves them the price of a ticket as they will admit the bearer to one of tne of the oldest, largest and most complete shows, producing their great p'.ay with high class specialties between acts.
