They further accuse him of ruining many great industries HARROW ESCAPE FROM DEATH (Scrlpp. New. Association) Buffalo, June 5 Early this morning an unknown man walked into the Niagara river one hundred feet vbove the brink of the falls. He was swept toward the pre cipice but managed to grab hold of a ledge only ten feet from the brink. A policeman saw him and attempted to throw him a rope which he was unable to reach, Later the fire department placed a ladder near where he was and two men crawled out and saved him from almost certain dealh. When brought to the shore he was entirety exhausted. He was taken to the police station where he refused to give his name. LA EOLLETTE HEARD AGAIN (Scrlcp. New. Association) Washington, June 5 Senator La Foll ette introduced a resolution this morning directing interstate commerce commission to investigate the so called grain elevator trust, with a view of disocveringif favors, in the form of rebates are being granted and if elevator priviliges are being granted. STATE ENCAMPMENTS OF G. A. R. (Sirlfips New. Association) Boone. la., June 5 The annual state encampment of the Grand Army of Iowa opened here today with an unusual ly large attendance. Several thousand visitors have been attracted by the en campment and the hotels are crowded. The encampment will be in session three days and commander-in-Chief Tanner will be the principal speaker at the big campfire. Salina. Kas.. June 5 The annual en campment of G. A. R. of Kansas opened here today. At the same time the Wom en's Relief Corps, the Sons of Veterans and other affiliated organizations are holding their annual meetings here.
