In the district court at Caldwell this morning, the attorneys ror the Western Federation of Miners filed a motion to quash the indictment against Moyer. Haywood and P"!ibone. who are charged with the murder of Steunenberg. Their pleading contained a lengthy document giving numerous rea sons for etting aside the indictment The attorney for the prosecution asked for time to prepare his answer and filed a motion to have the case continued antil tomorrow morning. The health of Moyer is greatly improved. All of the defend ants appear to be cheerful and in good spirits. ANARCHIST 11 (Scrlpps News Association) . Cincinnati March 16. Johann Most,the anarchist is dangerously ill at the home of a friend in this city. , Most is one of the notorious anarchists of both continents. Before coming to America he wae arrested and imprisoned on several occasions. In 1886 he was imprisoned for inciting violence, and serve one year for publishing a seditious editor ial in his paper following the assassination of President McKinley. FATAL HOTEL FIRE (Scrlppe Newe Association) Tustin, Mich. Mar. 1 6 Wm. McCrane and wife and Porter Charles Orknam and a guest were burned to death this morn ing in a fire which consumed the hotel and the business portion of the village.
