Hi Otttttt-tttttftt Aurelia Reports from the mines during January has warranted a raise, consequently stock has gone up to 1 cents, and this is not all, it will keep going up as long as the property gets better, as it is you should buy before another raise in price, or. you will miss a good investment. You should consider this as being a home enterprise and help the matter ; along, 'thereby helping yourself. '' r AURELIA MINING CO. J. A. THRONSON. C, Feb. 22 Chief of the Forestry Bureau Qifford Pinchot who has been away from Washington for short time, promised Senator Fulton this week to take up personally the matter of alloting the Wenaha '-reserve for range purposes, as petitioned by the Umatilla County Wool Growers' Associa tion. Incidental to this discussion, the general proposition of range apportion ment on their reserves will be discussed. The Senator is urging that local stock interests affected by reserve apportion ment bt given greater voice in tht matter, and that when there it an issut of fact regarding any proposition, the depart ment provide the means for hearing tht case, and if the ruling of the supervisor it found erroneous or unjust to contiguous interests the chief of tht bureau revise the primary allotment In this connection, It it tht hope of the Oregon senator to develop a clearer method of procedure in range allotments, which, in the nature of things, it likely to be nebulous at tuch at tht present early stage of the work. Developments of tht Wenaha reserve stem to indicate that the department does not give the heed to local interests that it demanded by the states in which forest reserves are situated, and the first contest in tht Northwest section may evolve a plan that will be of general benefit to stock owners.
