IT REASONS WELL Do not deaden a crying nerve with opium but remove the prop that makes the out cry, nerves are intelligent and they do not cry "wolf! wolf!" unless there is cause for it. It would be one way to re store confidence in the sheep fold by giv ing the lambs something to destroy all sense of fear at the approach of the da vourer; but it would not make for their welfare. Nor does opium or other drug wmcn deausii uio usi uui syittrn, pro tect the body against the ravage of die ease. It simply paralyzes the usual act ion of the nerves by which the body it warned of its enemy disease. The Osteopath seeks the prod that causes the pain of gastralgia, the twitt ing of St. Vitus dance, or the lethargy of parlysis, He removes it when that is possible, and the sensible nerve ceast their cry. Pain is the prayer of the body for relief, not the asking fornerve intox ication. Let your nerves think for you. If they tell you there is trouble, go to an Osteopath. Your body needs not doping but good engineering. - 1 f'iU DINNER FOR TWO depends for its success upon three things. First, your companion, second the dinner, third the service.
