for grain in this valley. .Ha states that
this valley is one of the best that he
makes in his travels and that it requires
a large number of sacks to take care of
the grain.
Little Freda, the ten year old daughter
of Mrs. Sutfin. was run over this" morning
by a wagon, receiving severe injuries to
ankle. A number of school children, she
among the number, were trying to clam
ber upon a passing wagon. She slipped
and fell, her foot falling under one of the
wheels of the heavy wagon. The injury,
although very painful, does not appear to
be serious as no bones are broken.

It is the understanding that the fire
companies meet tonight for the purpose
of disbandment and reorganization as
proposed at the last meeting of the city
council.
The rummage sale which is being con
ducted by the ladies of the Methodist
church, in the Haworth building on Fir
street is enjoying a shlendid patronage.
