Last year, with a S) horse power Doman engine it ran 20 miles an hour, and with the doctur's engine it will certainly make in the neighborhood o( 13 miles. The boat is 41 (eet long and has a li foot beam. It is divided into tro parts, the engine setting forward, and a roomy compartment aft capable of holding a number of passen gers. Columbia City is picking up. Last Saturday night there was a dance given there in the new hall, and a number of young fo;ks from here who attended re port a very enjoyable time. We have received woril here of the drowning of Cal Horne in the Bachelor slough.
