The city council had another meeting Saturday night lo hear a report from the couimit'ce appointed at the previous meet ing to investigate and make an estimate of tbe coat ol blowing out tbe stumps on the road Irom the loot ol the Braden bill south to Bridge street. The committee reported that the cost would be about 120 and that this expense would be borne by line property owners aloug tbe proponed new road, and that the work can be bod from voluuteert, to that a roadbed thirty feet wide can be made on the new road without cost to the county. The proba bilities are now that a petition may go into the county court in January to have the old road tha now runs diagonally from the loot of the Braden hill to Tringle's store, changed to the proposed new route. The people, so (ar as we know, are united in desiring this change. David Ivaslev and K. R.
