Tub Medical Law. The phyaiolans of the Oregon medical board are not finding always the smooth sailing they anticipated, says the Sun. The first case in which they failed was that of Mrs. L. The trial took piece at Newberg, and she was represented by an attorney, and with permission of the court Mrs. Abigail Soott Dumway addressed the jury in behalf of the right of Mrs. Moeum to dispose of the medicines, tier address completely shattered the argument of the prosecution and the jury acquitted the defendant, after a few minutes consultation. The an nouncement of the verdict crested considerable rejoicing among the women who were to be affeoted by the decision in the oase. Only Six Years Old. The little six-year-old son of O. D. The boy, hearing the barking of the dogs, gathered his father's rifle and went over to the bank of theoreek and taking a "rest" over a log, fired. The deer fell.
