MUCKLE & CO., -DtALSas IsT -General Merchandiser ImportaJBt La ad Office Oectaieaa. Oekoom City, March 30. Yesterday the Oregon City land office rendered an important decision affecting the title to more than 100 acres of land in or bordering on the town site of Bain ler. The title of the case is Sylss B Plympton, et si., donation land claim ants and Protestants, vs. John C. Farr. et si., homestead claimants. It was three donation land claimants against three subsequent homestead entrvmen and the decission is that the former have their rights to the . land. These bad settled on the claims and made proof to one rear's residence noon tnem in laoo-o. Isaac Voorhees and John 8. Hawkins, co-protestante with Plympton, are dead, but their heirs are now in a fair way to obtain title to the claims. The donation land claimants seemed to have laid the ground for trouble when they paid for their land before it was surveyed by the govern ment. This gave rise to conflcitine government charts, as attempts were made to square the claims with the surveyssubsequently made. The home steaders have thirty days in which to file an appeal.
